Chamber Launches Revamped ‘Elevate’ Program to Empower Saint Lucia’s Small Businesses

Must Read

The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture has officially launched its revamped Small Business Support Program, “Elevate,” signaling a renewed commitment to providing high-quality business development resources to small enterprises across the island.

Through a strengthened partnership network that includes the Saint Lucia Development Bank, Unicomer (Fast Cash and Courts Business Solutions), the Youth Economy Agency, and Bank of Saint Lucia, the Chamber aims to deliver practical training, expert guidance, and valuable networking opportunities for small businesses looking to grow and thrive in an increasingly competitive landscape.

The initial rollout of Elevate will feature two flagship training sessions:

Costing and Pricing for Small Business – scheduled for April 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Chamber Secretariat.

Business Continuity Planning (BCP) – running from June 2 to 5, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., also at the Chamber’s offices.

These programs are designed to address two critical areas of small business sustainability: understanding financial fundamentals and preparing for operational resilience in the face of disruptions.

A key feature of the new Elevate initiative will be the introduction of two dynamic events:

1. A Business Showcase with Masterclasses

2. A B2B (Business-to-Business) event that connects small businesses with potential suppliers and buyers—creating a space for meaningful collaboration and commerce.

Additionally, the Chamber has confirmed that its widely acclaimed “Know Your Labour Act” session, led by legal expert Ms. Cheryl Godard Dorville, will also be offered under the Elevate program—continuing its legacy of impactful legal literacy for entrepreneurs.

With limited spaces available, interested small businesses are strongly encouraged to register early, especially for the Showcase and B2B events, where preference will be given to participants of the Costing & Pricing and BCP training programs.
