A suspected drowning has been reported at a beach in Vieux Fort, where the body of a man suspected to be in his late 30s was recovered on Sunday.
Authorities say preliminary information suggests that the man appeared to have been submerged for approximately two hours before his body was retrieved from the water.
The incident occurred at Pirata Beach in the Cedar Heights area.
