On Monday August 25th, 2025, the Saint Lucia Daily Post published an article titled “Four Year Old Boy Dies in Suspected Drowning at Gros Islet Beach.”
We in the article I inaccurately stated that the incident had occurred at the Bay Gardens Water Park Facility, situated at the Rodney Bay Beach.
It has since come to our attention that the incident never occurred at the Bay Gardens Water Park Facility.
We are aware that the above inaccurate statement may have caused feelings of distress to the management and staff of the Bay Gardens Water Park Facility.
We deeply regret the undesirable consequences that have arisen from our publication of the above statement and take this opportunity to apologize to the management of the Bay Gardens Water Park Facility.
