Dr Kenny Anthony Shaken but Safe After Cement Truck Collision

Must Read

Castries, Saint Lucia – Former Prime Minister and MP for Vieux Fort South Dr Kenny D. Anthony is safe after a heavy-duty cement truck collided with his vehicle earlier today in a startling traffic incident that has surfaced on social media.

The incident occurred near the final tunnel before the Faux a Chaux roundabout while Dr Anthony was driving into Castries. In an exclusive conversation with St Lucia Daily Post, he recounted the unexpected impact:

“I was driving behind a long line of vehicles because of the traffic near the roundabout. Suddenly, a Rayneau cement truck slammed into the back of my vehicle,” Dr Anthony explained.

The video footage of the accident, which has sparked concern, shows a slow-moving line of traffic at the time of the incident. Dr Anthony confirmed the same, emphasizing that he was not speeding due to the flow of traffic.

“It was very bizarre. I don’t know what happened to the driver of the truck,” he added. “The weight of the vehicle was so heavy it shifted my car when it hit. I was shaken by the accident.”

Though calm, Dr Anthony said he’s monitoring himself closely for any signs of whiplash or delayed injuries and will consult a doctor if necessary.
