Praslin Man Dies in Tragic Tree-Cutting Accident

Micoud, Saint Lucia – A tragic accident claimed the life of 35-year-old Claude Stephen, a resident of Praslin, on Monday while he was trimming a tree.

According to reports, Stephen was cutting a branch when the one he was standing on suddenly snapped, causing him to fall. As he plunged toward the ground, another branch struck his neck, resulting in fatal injuries. 

Emergency responders arrived at the scene but were unable to revive him. He was pronounced dead on-site.
