Families across Saint Lucia are invited to be part of Kids SummerFest 2026, a one-day celebration designed to bring children, parents, and communities together through fun, meaningful activities, and positive experiences that encourage confidence, empowerment, and stronger family connections.
Scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the National Cultural Centre, Kids SummerFest 2026 will provide a unique blend of entertainment, education, and community engagement, creating an environment where children can play, learn, express themselves, and build lasting memories.
Organized by Occasions St. Lucia in collaboration with Azari Party Rentals, the event will feature a wide variety of family-friendly attractions and activities, including bounce houses, trampolines, bubble experiences, giant games, children’s competitions, opportunities to win prizes, creative activities, food and beverage options, live entertainment, and interactive experiences for the entire family.
Through a combination of dance presentations, interactive plays, skits, and creative performances, Kids SummerFest 2026 will also use the power of storytelling and expression to bring important messages to life. Key themes such as bullying awareness, positive family environments, child safety, confidence building, and empowerment will be powerfully demonstrated in ways that are engaging, meaningful, and relatable for children and families.
However, Kids SummerFest 2026 is about much more than entertainment. The event was created with the aim of promoting positive family environments, building children’s confidence and self-worth, raising awareness about bullying, and encouraging conversations around child safety and empowerment.
Event Coordinator Nicole Phillips explained that the vision behind the festival is to create a safe and uplifting space where children can feel valued, supported, and inspired.
“Children deserve spaces where they can have fun, build friendships, develop confidence, and understand their own value. Through Kids SummerFest, we want to create an experience that celebrates children while also encouraging important conversations around the challenges they face and the support they need from families and communities,” Phillips said.
She added that creating positive environments for children requires a collective effort from parents, schools, businesses, and communities.
“Every child should feel empowered, protected, and encouraged to reach their full potential. This event allows us to bring families together while sharing important messages about respect, kindness, confidence, and making positive choices,” she noted.
Throughout the day, families will have the opportunity to enjoy interactive activities while participating in an atmosphere focused on connection, encouragement, and creating positive childhood experiences.
According to Phillips, the goal is for children and families to leave the event with more than just memories.
“We want children to leave feeling happy, confident, and celebrated. We want families to reconnect, have fun together, and be reminded of the important role they play in helping children grow into confident and compassionate individuals,” she said.
Organizers are encouraging families, schools, community groups, and supporters of youth development to attend Kids SummerFest 2026 and be part of an initiative dedicated to celebrating children and strengthening communities.
