A 52-year-old Dennery man was shot and killed inside his home on Friday, leaving investigators searching for answers.
The victim has been identified as Marinus Annibaffa of Gadette, Dennery.
According to the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF), officers attached to the Richfond Police Station responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 7:30 a.m. on June 12. When officers arrived at the residence, they discovered Annibaffa unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound.
A medical practitioner later pronounced him dead.
Police have not disclosed what may have led to the shooting, whether any suspects have been identified, or if anyone else was present at the residence when the incident occurred.
The killing is now the subject of an active homicide investigation as authorities work to piece together the circumstances surrounding the fatal attack.
