St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) customers are advised that from Monday, May 19 until Friday, May 26, the company will undertake a meter replacement drive throughout the island.
The campaign is part of LUCELEC’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe, reliable, and efficient service.
The exercise will result in an upgrade to the Company’s metering infrastructure and ensure that our services continue to meet the highest industry quality and safety standards.
The new meters will ensure continued accuracy in customer usage readings and offer an improved customer service experience. This exercise will be undertaken at no cost to customers, and LUCELEC’s technicians will work diligently to minimize any disruption during the process.
What Customers Can Expect:
• Meter replacements will begin on May 19 and continue through to May 26, 2025.
• Customers will receive notice from the company at least 48 hours before the scheduled replacement.
• On the day of the replacement, uniformed LUCELEC technicians with proper, readily available identification will undertake the replacement work.
• In most cases, the process will take less than 30 minutes.
To facilitate a smooth change-out process, customers are humbly asked to ensure there is a clear and unobstructed path to their meter.
