Father-Son Duo Completes J&J Three Peak Challenge

Must Read

Saturday, December 21st, 2024 – In a remarkable display of determination and teamwork, Claudio Perez and his son Ethan Perez have joined an elite group by completing the J&J Three Peak Challenge in a single day. The challenge, regarded as one of St. Lucia’s most grueling adventures, involves climbing the island’s three iconic peaks—Petit Piton, Mount Gimie, and Gros Piton—in one day.

Guided by the creators of the challenge, Julian Toussaint and Jason Sayers of J&J Three Peak Challenge, the Perez duo became the third set of clients to successfully conquer all three peaks in a single day. Julian and Jason also hold the record for the fastest completion time of 5 hours and 12 minutes.

Claudio Perez, a Canadian married to a St. Lucian, and his son Ethan, who is both Canadian and St. Lucian, achieved the following times:

Petit Piton: 2 hours, 40 minutes

Mount Gimie: 3 hours, 39 minutes

Gros Piton: 2 hours, 45 minutes

Their achievement is particularly impressive when compared to former Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes, who previously attempted the challenge. Accompanied by Julian Toussaint, Dame Kelly managed to climb two of the peaks in one day, completing the third on a later date.

The J&J Three Peak Challenge is co-owned by Jason Sayers and Julian Toussaint. Together with Kamille Huggins, they also co-own The 758 Adventurers. Together, they offer adventurers the chance to experience St. Lucia’s breathtaking landscapes while pushing their physical limits.

Congratulations to Claudio and Ethan Perez for their incredible accomplishment. Those interested in attempting the J&J Three Peak Challenge can contact The 758 Adventurers on Facebook or Instagram for more details.
