Police Seek Public Help After Masked Men Rob Touya Airbnb Guests

Police are seeking public assistance with information that could lead to the arrest of two masked men in their investigations into an aggravated burglary. The incident occurred at an Airbnb apartment in Touya, Gros Islet, leaving one woman injured during the early hours of Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 1:00 a.m. when two unknown men, armed with knives, entered the apartment occupied by two female non-nationals and robbed them of valuables, including jewellery and cash. During the incident, a physical altercation took place, resulting in one of the occupants sustaining several lacerations.

The matter was reported to the Gros Islet Police Station at approximately 2:08 a.m. Officers responded to the scene, and the Gros Islet Criminal Investigations Department launched an investigation. The Gros Islet Fire Service also assisted, and the victims were transported to the Owen King EU Hospital for medical treatment. They have since been discharged and are cooperating with police.
