Man Injured in Castries Shooting Incident

On Sunday, August 31, 2025, around 10:30 p.m., the RSLPF received a report from the OKEU Hospital of a shooting victim.

The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Charve Charlemagne, a waiter of Chisel Street, Castries. He sustained a gunshot wound to his right thigh and was transported to the hospital by private means. Medical personnel reported that he was in stable condition and was scheduled for surgery.

According to preliminary information, Charlemagne was returning home after visiting a bar in Castries when he heard gunfire. Shortly after, he realized he had been shot. He was later assisted to the hospital by a passerby.

 The matter remains under active investigation.
