The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has launched an investigation into a homicide following a fatal stabbing in Dormel, Desruisseaux on Sunday morning.
According to police reports, officers attached to the Micoud Police Station responded to a report of a stabbing at approximately 7:20 a.m. on March 15, 2026.
Initial information indicated that a male victim had sustained multiple stab wounds about his body. The injured man was transported to St. Jude Hospital for emergency medical treatment. However, he was later pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.
The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Daniel Norville of Anse Ger, Micoud.
Police say investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing, and a post-mortem examination has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
The RSLPF is appealing to members of the public who may have information related to the incident to contact the Major Crimes Unit at 456-3754.
