The local media fraternity is mourning the loss of Lissa Joseph, a respected journalist, news anchor and mentor who passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, January 6, following a prolonged illness.
Joseph’s passing marks the end of a distinguished media career spanning more than two decades, during which she served with Radio St Lucia, DBS, Radio Caribbean International, Hot FM, and the Government Information Service. Across each newsroom she entered, Joseph left an indelible mark defined by professionalism, integrity, and humanity.
Throughout her career, she held multiple roles including news anchor, editor, reporter and producer and talk show host, bringing clarity and depth to the stories she told.
