On Sunday, September 28, 2025 about 4:39 p.m. Police Officers attached to the Choiseul Police Station, responded to a report of a suspected drowning at the River Doree Beach, Choiseul.
Initial inquiries revealed that one (1) male was retrieved from the River Doree beach and conveyed to the St. Judes Hospital. He was later pronounced dead by medical officials.
The deceased who has now been identified as fifty-one (51) year old Cornelius Eugene of Roblot, Choiseul.
