Police recovered two illegal firearms, ammunition, and drugs during a search operation in Vigier, Vieux-Fort, on Monday, September 22, 2025.
Details remain limited, but the Saint Lucia Daily Post confirmed that two individuals were arrested in connection with the seizures.
Social media activity spiked Monday morning as officers were seen in Cannelles, near the location where several bodies were recently discovered in a vehicle. However, a senior police officer clarified that officers were merely following up on investigations while carrying out the operation.
Police say investigations are ongoing.
