Plattsburgh, New York – A 61-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Saint Lucian national Jahfari Joseph, whose body was discovered following an extensive investigation by authorities.
Joseph, 40, who resided in Plattsburgh, was reported missing on December 29, 2024. His disappearance prompted a police investigation that led officers to execute a search warrant at a residence on Tuesday. The operation resulted in the arrest of Timothy Timmons, who has since been charged with second-degree murder.
Investigators allege that Timmons killed Joseph on the night he went missing. He was arraigned in Peru Town Court and subsequently remanded to the Clinton County Jail.
