Probe Launched into the Discovery of Marc Bexon Homicide

On Saturday, 28 December 2024, about 2:35 a.m., investigators attached to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) in Castries received a report of a homicide at Marc, Bexon, located in Castries.

At the scene, detectives discovered the motionless body of a male, who bore signs of apparent gunshot injuries to the torso and head. A medical doctor who was summoned to the scene pronounced the victim deceased.

The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Nyim Calender, alias “Sunshine,” of Marc, Bexon. The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Nyim Calender.
