CHOISEUL, SAINT LUCIA – Vaughn Mark of Victoria, Choiseul, and Kendal Sansion of Sapphire Estate, Laborie, have been charged with four counts of Attempted Murder each following a gruesome chopping attack that left four victims seriously injured in Industry, Choiseul. The men, now at the center of a high-profile investigation, were denied bail and remanded into custody after their court appearance on Friday, February 7, 2025.

The charges stem from a violent incident that occurred on Friday, January 31, 2025, around 10:12 p.m., when police officers from the Choiseul Police Station responded to reports of a brutal assault. Emergency personnel from the Saint Lucia Fire Service arrived on the scene to find four individuals suffering from severe injuries. The victims were immediately transported to St. Jude’s Hospital for urgent medical care.

Investigators moved quickly, arresting Mark and Sansion the following day, February 1, 2025, as primary suspects in the attack. Authorities have not yet disclosed a motive but have confirmed that the case remains under active investigation.

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, the duo was formally charged with four counts of Attempted Murder, solidifying the severity of the case. Two days later, on February 7, they appeared before the Second District Court seeking bail, but the judge ruled against their release, citing the gravity of the charges.
