From humble beginnings at Gablewoods Mall to international recognition, Travel & Leisure Centre Inc. continues to put Saint Lucia on the map.
Travel & Leisure Centre Inc. (TLC) is celebrating another major milestone after winning the World Travel Award for Saint Lucia’s Leading Travel Agency for the fourth consecutive year, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.
The journey began in 2014, when Managing Director and Owner Adrian J. Popo opened the doors of TLC at Gablewoods Mall, sharing a small space within his aunt’s cake shop. After taking a two-year break from the travel industry, encouragement from his first corporate client, SOL EC Ltd.
Initially, Popo envisioned a specialised visa application centre, recognising a need for dedicated assistance with visa and immigration processes. However, as demand grew and more businesses sought his services, TLC evolved into a full-service travel management company serving corporate clients, government agencies, organisations and individual travellers.
The journey has not always been easy. The travel industry comes with its challenges, particularly when clients receive visa refusals. Nevertheless, TLC remains committed to thorough preparation, professional guidance and quality service, maintaining an approximately 90% visa approval rate for North America and Europe, according to company records.
As a proud IATA-accredited agency, TLC continues to uphold industry standards while building strong relationships with regional and international partners.
Reflecting on this latest achievement, Popo expressed sincere gratitude to the people of Saint Lucia for their continued support, his dedicated staff for their commitment and hard work, and his family for their encouragement throughout the journey. He also thanked the corporate clients and regional and international partners whose confidence and support have contributed to the company’s growth.
