New India Assurance Bois D’Orange Branch Temporarily Closed Following Fire at Computer World Building

The New India Assurance Company (T&T) Limited has announced the temporary closure of its Bois D’Orange branch following the devastating fire that destroyed the Computer World Building between March 6 and 7.

In a public notice issued on March 8, the company confirmed that its branch operations were affected by the blaze, which caused extensive damage to the commercial structure that housed several businesses.

Despite the disruption, the company reported that all staff members are safe. 

The insurer indicated that teams are currently working to restore full operations, while taking steps to ensure that clients continue to receive uninterrupted service.

To facilitate ongoing insurance services such as renewals and policy support, customers are being directed to partner agencies located in Castries.

These agencies include:

New India Assurance further revealed that it is currently securing a new office location, with updates expected to be shared once arrangements are finalized.
