Saint Lucia’s track and field sensation Julien Alfred has firmly denied disturbing reports posted by Supersportsupdate.com that claimed she was involved in a devastating car accident this week.

The 23-year-old sprint star, revered across the globe for her record-breaking performances, took to social media to address the rumours and calm fears after the website alleged she had sustained injuries in a serious crash. The report, which quickly spread online, lacked verified details but triggered widespread concern among fans and fellow athletes.

Alfred, however, was quick to set the record straight when contacted by Saint Lucia Daily Post.

“I want to reassure everyone that I am perfectly fine and in good health,” she stated. “There was no accident. I’m currently training and preparing for my next event.”

Supporters have since rallied behind Alfred, sending messages of encouragement as she remains laser-focused on her upcoming race.

Julien Alfred continues to carry the hopes of Saint Lucia on the international stage—and this latest distraction has done nothing to slow her stride.
