Babonneau, Saint Lucia — September 3, 2025
The community of Balata, Babonneau was rocked on Wednesday afternoon following the discovery of a lifeless body.
According to reports from the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF), officers from the Babonneau Police Station responded to a call around 2:38 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of Junior Leon, a 39-year-old resident of Balata.
A medical practitioner on the scene pronounced Leon dead, though the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear. Law enforcement officials have since launched a full investigation into the incident.
The RSLPF is appealing to members of the public for any information that may assist in their inquiries.
