Jamaican reggae duo Romain Virgo and Christopher Martin brought the curtains down on what officials are calling the most successful edition of the St Kitts Music Festival to date.

The three-night event drew record crowds and featured a powerful lineup of regional and international acts including Patrice Roberts, Kes The Band, Trilla G, Barrington Levy, Jah Vinci, Chronic Law, Spice, Jennifer Hudson, Ayra Starr, and Vybz Kartel, whose performance was described as one of the weekend’s most electrifying moments.

Local talent also took center stage, with standout performances from Virgil Hodge, Collin Wyatt, Ideli Napi, DJ Tero, the St Kitts Steel Pan Orchestra, and Dejour.
“It has been phenomenal,” said Chief Executive Officer of the St Kitts Tourism Authority, Kelly Fontenelle. “St Kitts is now the hottest place in the Caribbean. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the St Kitts Music Festival Committee on reaching the remarkable milestone of 27 years since the festival’s inception.”

Fontenelle emphasized the festival’s role as a key economic driver, particularly during the off peak summer months.
“One of our key objectives, particularly during the summer months, is to fill our beds and bring people to the beautiful island,” she said. “By offering treasured immersive experiences, we simultaneously provide a much needed economic boost to our tourism industry during what is traditionally the low season.”

She added that early reports indicate strong visitor engagement and record breaking attendance, reinforcing the festival’s significance within the island’s broader tourism strategy.
“We have witnessed extraordinary performances, each a testament to the festival’s growth and 27 years of unforgettable experiences. The recorded successes over the weekend have demonstrated the festival’s ability to showcase St Kitts in its entirety.”
Fontenelle also noted the importance of cultural immersion for visitors.
“Our aim is to inspire travelers to venture deeper into our destination, into our communities, to connect with Kittitians and Nevisians, and explore all we have to offer. Whether it’s discovering the wonders beneath the sea, hiking our scenic trails, immersing in our rich history, or savoring locally made rum and cuisine.”
Plans are already underway for a full post-mortem of the 2025 festival, including an assessment of its economic impact and early preparations for the 2026 edition.
The St Kitts Music Festival, now in its 27th year, continues to establish itself as a premier entertainment and tourism event in the Caribbean.
