The Orbtronics Innovation Gala 2025 successfully brought together more than 200 innovators, technology leaders, corporate executives, government officials, and industry partners on Sunday, December 14, at Sandals Grande, cementing its status as a premier platform advancing the Caribbean’s innovation and technology agenda.

With strong attendance and robust support from regional sponsors and global technology stakeholders, the Gala highlighted growing international interest in the region’s rapidly evolving innovation ecosystem. Representatives from major global technology companies including Amazon, Tesla, YouTube, and IBM were among those in attendance, alongside local and regional corporations, startups, and public-sector leaders.

The evening unfolded as a vibrant celebration of collaboration and forward-thinking, featuring high-level networking, immersive visual experiences, startup showcases, and engaging discussions. Guests were treated to captivating presentations, live demonstrations, and curated entertainment throughout the night. Standout moments included the interactive appearance of the Kaizen X AI Robot, awards recognizing youth innovators and corporate leaders in technology, and a visually striking glow-in-the-dark performance that energized the ballroom.

A key highlight of the event was the attendance of Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Honourable Philip J. Pierre, who delivered remarks emphasizing the importance of innovation, technology, and digital transformation in shaping the nation’s future. The Prime Minister also shared a symbolic moment on stage when he shook hands with the Kaizen X AI Robot, underscoring the Caribbean’s engagement with emerging technologies.

Reflecting on the event, Prime Minister Pierre stated, “I had the pleasure of attending the Orbtronics Gala, an event that underscored the critical role technology plays in driving productivity, efficiency, and national progress. This Government firmly believes that technology and innovation are key enablers of economic growth and effective governance. Supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and homegrown technology solutions is a core pillar of this administration’s manifesto.”
He added that by embracing digital solutions, the Government aims to modernise service delivery and ensure that public services work better and faster for the people of Saint Lucia, while congratulating the Orbtronics team for their leadership in advancing innovation across the country and the wider region.

Founder of Orbtronics, Sherguan Roserie, hailed the event as a major success. “We are incredibly pleased with the success of the 2025 Orbtronics Innovation Gala, which exceeded expectations in both engagement and impact,” Roserie said. “The strong support from our sponsors, partners, and attendees, including representatives from leading global technology firms, demonstrates the growing importance of innovation across the Caribbean.”

The Gala also benefited from the support of leading organizations including Republic Bank, PromoTech Saint Lucia, Digicel Business, Invest Saint Lucia, and Harbor Club, among others. Their partnerships and in-kind contributions enhanced the overall experience and underscored the strength of public–private collaboration within the innovation ecosystem.

Another major highlight was the Start-Up Pitch Showcase, which featured twelve innovative startups presenting their ideas and solutions, showcasing the depth of entrepreneurial talent emerging across the region. The event also included a presentation by guest speaker Jason Scott of Five Two Five, a globally focused early-stage venture fund, who shared insights drawn from his experience supporting founders and building startup ecosystems worldwide.

Organizers say the Orbtronics Innovation Gala will continue to serve as a catalyst for innovation-led growth and collaboration in the Caribbean, with plans already underway to expand its reach and deepen its impact in 2026 and beyond.
