Thousands of Saint Lucians Devastated in Creators Alliance Collapse: Grenadian Cyber Authorities Reveal Alarming Findings

Must Read

A devastating financial scandal continues to unravel in Saint Lucia as more details emerge about Creators Alliance, the digital platform now confirmed by regional cybersecurity experts to be a fraudulent Ponzi scheme. The fallout has left thousands of Saint Lucians reeling from financial losses, some reportedly in the tens of thousands of dollars.

New revelations from Jervis Dabreo, Coordinator of the Grenada National Cybersecurity Incident Response Team (CSIRT), have confirmed that the Grenadian government agency conducted an extensive investigation into Creators Alliance late last year—months before the scheme began collapsing publicly. Their findings were chilling.

“We labeled it as a malicious entity. A multi-level marketing Ponzi scheme. On January 6th, we issued a public advisory warning everyone not to engage,” said Dabreo in an exclusive interview.

According to the Grenada CSIRT, the scheme operated by recruiting individuals under a referral system, forming a pyramid structure. Users were promised high returns by simply uploading or watching videos, with Creators Alliance claiming to have partnerships with major streaming platforms like YouTube and Vimeo. However, no evidence was found of such affiliations.

“We verified directly. There was no relationship with Google, YouTube, Vimeo, or any legitimate streaming service,” Dabreo confirmed. “So how were they paying users $6 USD per view when YouTube pays less than $0.10?”

The agency found that Creators Alliance’s payout structure relied entirely on the continuous influx of new funds from new recruits or existing users upgrading to higher-tier packages. Once growth stalled, the model inevitably crumbled—a classic hallmark of a Ponzi scheme.

The Grenadian CSIRT investigation revealed additional red flags:

Different websites for users in different countries (Saint Lucia, Grenada, Cyprus, etc.)

A lack of transparency around ownership

Poorly developed apps and interfaces with little professional oversight

These findings mirror what many victims in Saint Lucia have begun to experience—sudden withdrawal restrictions, disappearing support channels, and a complete communication blackout from Creators Alliance.

In Grenada alone, over 1,000 citizens fell victim to the scam, equating to about 1% of the population. The scale in Saint Lucia is feared to be even greater, given the aggressive marketing and word-of-mouth expansion that saw entire communities investing.

Despite warnings issued in Grenada, there’s growing frustration in Saint Lucia about the lack of timely alerts from local authorities, allowing the scam to penetrate deeper. Some victims say they invested their life savings, convinced by promises of passive income and digital entrepreneurship.

Regional cybersecurity cooperation—through entities like CARICOM IMPACS and the Regional Security System (RSS)—has helped track the cross-border nature of the scam. However, locating the perpetrators behind Creators Alliance remains a challenge, as the operators remain anonymous and hidden behind layers of digital obfuscation.

The Grenada CSIRT is encouraging citizens across the region to report scams early and reach out for verification before investing. Dabreo emphasized that their services remain free and open to the public, not just in Grenada, but across the Caribbean.

“Anyone can reach out to us. We’ll investigate and give you feedback,” he said. “We’re active on social media under @csirtgnd and can also be reached via WhatsApp at +1-473-423-2478.”

As the dust settles in Saint Lucia, the emotional and economic toll continues to climb, and questions remain about whether local regulatory bodies could have done more to prevent the crisis. For now, the priority is to support victims, increase awareness, and prevent further exploitation from similar digital traps.

This is an ongoing story.
