Police Make Multiple Arrests in Odsan During Crime Crackdown Operation

Must Read

Police have made several arrests and recovered an illegal firearm and drugs during a pre-dawn operation in Odsan on Friday, as part of an ongoing national crime crackdown.

The operation, carried out in the early hours of October 31, led to the arrest of at least five individuals. According to law enforcement sources, one of the detainees is wanted by police in connection with previous investigations.

Officers also seized an unlicensed firearm and quantities of illegal drugs during the raid.

While the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has not yet issued an official statement, charges are expected to be laid as investigations continue.

The latest operation forms part of the RSLPF’s intensified island-wide efforts to curb violent crime and illegal activity. In recent weeks, police have reported several successful raids that have resulted in multiple arrests, as well as the recovery of firearms, ammunition, and narcotics.

Authorities say the heightened enforcement will continue as part of the force’s ongoing commitment to improving public safety.
