The Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE), in collaboration with its licensed member broker-dealers and the Eastern Caribbean Securities Regulatory Commission (ECSRC), has officially announced the hosting of the 3rd Annual Regional Schools Investment Competition (RSIC).
Set to run during October and November 2025, the competition aims to promote financial literacy and introduce students to the dynamic world of investment and securities trading.
Before the competition kicks off, students will participate in an Investment Education Webinar designed to teach them the fundamentals of investing, financial securities, and the structure of the Eastern Caribbean Securities Market.
The initiative targets 3rd to 5th form students and 1st-year tertiary-level students from across the eight member countries of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU). Competing schools will battle for the coveted title of Regional Investment Champion, giving students a chance to experience real-time securities market activity while testing their knowledge and sharpening their investment skills.
Participants will not only learn how regional capital markets operate but will also gain practical insights into financial decision-making — a valuable skill set for shaping future economic leaders in the ECCU.
Registration and competition details are available on the ECSE website at www.ecseonline.com. Students, teachers, and parents can also visit the dedicated information page for updates, schedules, and resources: Regional Schools Investment Competition (RSIC).
