Marchand Murder Victim’s Home and Business Ransacked Day After Fatal Shooting

Must Read

The wave of violence and lawlessness gripping the Marchand community has taken a disturbing turn.

Just one day after the fatal shooting of a man known as Quami, his home and grocery shop were burglarized and ransacked. The deceased, who was gunned down execution-style on Sunday morning, is now the target of looters in the wake of his death.

A video circulating widely on social media shows the aftermath of the break-in, with the premises left in disarray. Reports indicate that intruders swept through both the business and residence, making off with all valuables.

His family has expressed outrage and sorrow, at the brazen act during their bereavement. Police have not yet commented on the burglary, but the incident adds another layer to the already tense atmosphere in Marchand, following Thursday’s mass shooting that claimed two lives and injured four others.

Investigations into the murders and the burglary are ongoing.

Saint Lucia Daily Post will continue to follow this developing story.
