Creators Alliance Collapse Leaves Local Assistants And Merchants Facing Death Threats

Must Read

What started as a B2C promotion of financial empowerment has unraveled into chaos and fear. Assistants and merchants once associated with the now-notorious Creators Alliance say they are now receiving death threats and being wrongfully targeted, despite being victims of the scheme themselves.

Creators Alliance, which spread rapidly across St. Lucia and the region, has been officially labeled a “malicious multi-layer marketing ponzi scheme” by Grenada’s National Cybersecurity Incident Response Team (CSIRT.GD). In a stern advisory, CSIRT.GD warned that anyone investing their money into the platform is likely to lose it.

The scheme attracted hundreds through word-of-mouth, in-person promotion, and promises of exponential returns via cryptocurrency transactions. However, with the platform’s collapse, those who played visible roles in its operations—especially assistants and merchants who assisted with crypto conversions and member recruitment—have become the targets of frustration and threats.

“There’s a serious misunderstanding,” said one affected merchant. “We weren’t running the scheme. We only helped people convert their money into crypto to join, and then converted it back when they got paid. Like everyone else, we believed in it. Some of us lost $20,000 or $30,000 of our own money.”

These assistants and merchants are now living in fear, accused of profiting from the losses of others. Many report being harassed and even threatened with violence, despite suffering the same financial setbacks as regular members.

At the heart of the scheme were foreign-based operatives—described as “white faces behind photos” on WhatsApp and Telegram—who acted as the actual managers. These individuals orchestrated the operation and promoted high-value packages. They have since disappeared, leaving local facilitators and victims alike to deal with the fallout.

Authorities are being urged to act swiftly—not only to protect those receiving threats, but to investigate the full scale of the scam and bring the masterminds to justice.

As the dust settles, Creators Alliance has left behind a trail of broken trust, empty wallets, and fear among those who once believed in its promise.

The St. Lucia Daily Post will continue to follow this developing story.
