BEXON, SAINT LUCIA – A fatal vehicular accident along the Bexon Highway on Saturday afternoon has claimed the life of one individual and left another hospitalized. The crash, which occurred around 3:00 p.m., involved a cement truck and a motorcycle.
Initial reports suggested that the truck driver may have been the target of a robbery. However, new information indicates that the truck driver was instead confronted by an individual who claims to be a friend of the motorcycle occupants after the collision had occurred.
Emergency services responded promptly to the scene, but one person was pronounced dead due to the severity of their injuries. Another individual was rushed to hospital, though their current condition remains undisclosed.
