In a showcase of culture, confidence, and community pride, Nabila Ali emerged as the winner of Miss Ciceron 2025 during a spirited and emotional evening held under the theme “Celebration of People, the Essence of Who We Are.” The event, which has grown into a defining feature of the Ciceron calendar, drew hundreds of residents and supporters from across Castries South and beyond.
Ali delivered a strong and consistent performance throughout the night, claiming not only the crown but also a series of coveted titles including Miss Congeniality, Best in Evening Wear, Best Designed Evening Gown, and Best Interview. Her poise, clarity, and stage presence captivated both the judging panel and the audience.
The competition was tight and emotional. First Runner-Up went to Nellisa Richard, who also took home Best Talent and Miss Photogenic, while Jasmine Peter placed as Second Runner-Up. Kiana Baptiste impressed judges in the swimsuit segment, capturing the award for Best in Swimwear.
Delivering the opening address, Parliamentary Representative for Castries South, Dr. Ernest Hilaire, highlighted the deeper mission of the Miss Ciceron Pageant.
“We started this a few years ago because we wanted an event that could bring the community together and showcase the very best of Ciceron, long before Olympic medals and national accolades. This is not just about beauty, it’s about identity, it’s about voice, and it’s about purpose.”
He underscored the pageant’s role as a platform for encouraging young women from all backgrounds in the community to embrace their potential and contribute meaningfully to their community.
“We wanted to show that young women in Ciceron can be powerful, glamorous, intelligent, and grounded in their commitment to their community,” Hilaire stated.
Chairperson of the Miss Ciceron Pageant, Tajma Brown, echoed that sentiment in her postmortem remarks, describing the pageant as a transformative journey for contestants.
“This is not just a beauty pageant, it is a safe space. A space for growth, healing, and transformation. Each year, we witness how touching one life extends to families, to the wider community. Last night’s show was a testament to the power of belief, sacrifice, and resilience.”
Brown confirmed that the growth of the pageant has sparked internal discussions about expanding to the wider constituency, but stressed that its current mission; providing a meaningful platform for young women in Ciceron, remains central.
“Now in its latest edition, the Pageant continues to gain momentum as more than just a local event. It has become a grassroots movement, one that celebrates womanhood, uplifts youth, and reminds Saint Lucians that beauty and strength can be found in every corner of their communities,” Brown declared.
