On Monday January 12, 2026, about 9:00 a.m. Police Officers attached to the Vieux Fort Police Station responded to a report of a decomposing body at Beanfield, Vieux Fort.
Initial reports indicated that one decomposing body of a male was discovered at Beanfield, Vieux Fort. He has been identified Norbert Crick a sixty-six (66) year old of Doe Camel, La Resource, Vieux Fort.
Investigations continue into this discovery.
