Must Read

Saint Lucia is making a powerful statement on the world stage at Expo 2025 Osaka, with its pavilion captivating thousands of visitors and firmly placing the island’s culture, products, and services in the global spotlight.

Featuring the breathtaking imagery of the majestic Pitons, which never fail to inspire awe, to the vibrant paintings and cultural expressions of local artists, the Saint Lucia Pavilion has become a must-see attraction.

“Visitors are not only admiring the island’s natural beauty but also engaging deeply with its creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit,” remarked Sunita Daniel, Chief Executive Officer of Export Saint Lucia.

She adds the island’s world-renowned rums; Bounty Rum, Chairman’s Reserve, and Marigot Bay cream liqueurs, have also proven to be crowd favorites.

According to her, the display of Saint Lucian spirits has been turning heads and sparking cherished memories among international guests, many of whom fondly recalled their travels to the island and its unmatched hospitality.

“Saint Lucia’s participation at Expo Osaka is more than just representation, it is a bold declaration that our island is ready to compete, connect, and collaborate with the world,” said Daniel. “Every product, every piece of art, and every cultural expression in our pavilion carries the heart of our people and the spirit of our nation. We are showing the world that Saint Lucia is small in size but immense in talent, creativity, and quality.”

The best of Saint Lucia’s talent are also expected to deliver performances at the Expo.

“Export Saint Lucia’s presence at the world expo continues to strengthen the island’s reputation as a hub for authentic Caribbean products and experiences, bridging global markets with Saint Lucian innovation and heritage,” Daniel stated.
