St. Lucia Electricity Services Limited (LUCELEC) will commence the third and final phase of its Meter Replacement Programme on Wednesday, September 17 continuing through Saturday, September 27, 2025. The initiative forms part of LUCELEC’s ongoing commitment to deliver a safe, reliable, and efficient electricity service.
The final phase will upgrade LUCELEC’s metering infrastructure, ensure continued compliance with the highest industry standards for quality and safety.
This phase will be carried out in Castries namely, Peynier Street, Brazil Street, Jeremie Street, Cadet Street, Bridge Street, West Hall Street, Bourbon Street, Micoud Street, Chaussee Road, Jeremie Street, Marchand Road, the George Charles Boulevard, Pavee, Maynard Hill, Trou Rouge, Rock Hall, Black Mallet Gap and Ravine Toutrelle.
The new meters will ensure continued accuracy in customer electricity usage readings and enhance the customer service experience. The new meters will be replaced at no cost to customers. LUCELEC technicians will work diligently to minimize any disruption during the process.
What Customers Can Expect:
- Meter replacements will take place from September 17 to September 27, 2025.
 - Customers will receive advance notice at least 48 hours before their scheduled replacement.
 - On the day of the replacement, uniformed LUCELEC technicians with proper, readily available identification will carry out the work.
 - In most cases, the replacement process will take less than 30 minutes.
 
To facilitate a smooth process, customers are kindly asked to provide clear and unobstructed access to their meter.
