The Gros Islet Football League kicked off their domestic competition dubbed the BAY BAY CUP on Sunday 25th January 2026 at the Francis Baba Lastic Grounds.
In the first encounter at 6pm New Generation FC thumped Dominators FC from Grand Riviere 9 goals to nill:
Captain Yanic Noel and Shevon Byron both got hat tricks in the 51,69,70 and 26,72,78 min respectively, whilst Aaron Richards netted in the 12 min along with Lee Edward in the 23 min. The final goal was an own goal by Tennyson Burke in the 64 min.
In the second encounter Monchy FC got the better of Northern United by 2:0 with a brace coming from Troy Greeniage in the 5th and 60th minute.
Matches continue on Wednesday 28th January 2026 at the Francis Baba Lastic Grounds with two exciting matches.
