A Darling Road man sustained further injuries on Tuesday after being shot in the hand and later in a vehicle crash while being transported to hospital.
Reports indicate that following the shooting, the injured man was being transported to hospital via private vehicle for urgent medical attention. During the journey, the driver lost control and the vehicle flipped. The incident occurred in Desruisseaux on Tuesday night.
He was later taken to hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition. The full circumstances surrounding both incidents are under investigation.
