The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has launched an investigation into a deadly shooting in Bocage, Castries that claimed the life of 35-year-old Wayne Mathurin.
The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Officers from the Criminal Investigations Department responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Mathurin with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported by the Saint Lucia Fire Service to the Owen King European Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead by a medical practitioner.
