DHL Takes Centre Stage in Supporting Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival

Must Read

DHL Saint Lucia is taking its commitment to culture and community to new heights this year as a proud partner of the 2025 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival. The global logistics giant has teamed up with the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority and Events Saint Lucia to import and transport key equipment essential for staging this year’s highly anticipated cultural showcase.

Speaking on the collaboration, DHL Special Projects Representative Haldin Calixte described the partnership as a natural extension of the company’s long-standing presence on the island and its desire to play a larger role in the local cultural landscape.

“We decided that, as partners of the festival, we wanted to fulfil every wish that the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, and by extension Events Saint Lucia, had,” Calixte said.

To meet the festival’s logistical demands, DHL deployed one of its largest air cargo carriers, a Boeing 757, to bring in crucial stage equipment and other items required for the smooth execution of the festival.

“In essence, everything that was needed for the festival was flown in by us,” he added.

While this marks DHL’s first official partnership with the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival, the company is no stranger to supporting cultural events on the island. Last year, DHL partnered with three of Saint Lucia’s biggest carnival bands, helping to import elaborate costumes and accessories from China—a feat made possible by their expansive fleet of aircraft departing from Asia every 17 minutes.

“We’ve been in Saint Lucia for more than 20 years, and we wanted to become more culturally inclined,” Calixte explained. “What better way to do that than by becoming involved in the major festivals happening across the island?”

From Carnival to Jazz, DHL’s expanding cultural footprint underscores the company’s growing role in shaping Saint Lucia’s vibrant events scene—ensuring that what’s needed arrives on time and on point.
