Five Injured in Rodney Bay Collision, Including 7-Year-Old Child

RODNEY BAY, SAINT LUCIA – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle collision in Rodney Bay late Thursday night, May 1st, where five individuals—including a young child—were injured.

IAccording to official reports from the Saint Lucia Fire Service, emergency responders arrived at approximately 9:14 PM following a distress call involving a two-vehicle crash. On arrival, officers found five persons affected by the incident.

Medical personnel at the scene assessed the injured and determined that one individual had sustained minor facial trauma. The remaining four complained of general body pain, including a seven-year-old minor. All five were treated on-site before being transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation and advanced care.

IThe circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time, and investigations are expected to follow. The Saint Lucia Fire Service continues to urge drivers to exercise caution on the roads, particularly during peak evening hours.

No fatalities have been reported.
