Gros Islet, Saint Lucia – March 7, 2025 – A United States national on a water-based excursion in the north of Saint Lucia tragically passed away after experiencing a medical emergency earlier today. The man, who was a passenger aboard a cruise ship docked on the island, was rushed to the Gros Islet Polyclinic but was later pronounced dead at the northern health facility.
According to reports, the tourist began exhibiting signs of distress while participating in the excursion, prompting immediate intervention. Emergency responders were alerted, and efforts were made to transport him swiftly to medical care. Despite these efforts, he succumbed to his condition while at the polyclinic.
Authorities have yet to disclose further details on the incident, including the specific cause of distress and the man’s identity, pending official investigations and notifications to his family.
